Jerusalem born Yehuda Ashash, is the founder of Ethnicamusic. Yehuda has been in the music business for the past 20 years. As an Israeli having ancestry originating in Marroco and Alger, Yehuda was exposed to a versatile variety of styles including French chansons, Spanish flamenco, North African grooves and Middle Eastern Music and scales. In his teenage years he was drawn to Rock music from the UK and USA. Being influenced from Western music culture, Yehuda took on the Electric Bass Guitar as a main instrument and later on, in the early 90's, joined the highly acclaimed Rock band "Brother Grimm" based in Florida, touring the US and recording. Further on, Yehuda found creativity in the Production aspect of music, studied at the "Art Institute" in the US, majoring in the Music and Film Industry. Later on he became a fully accomplished Producer and Sound Engineer, producing original compositions as well as additional artists in the Jerusalem area. In the late 90's he recorded and toured the UK with the successful Ensemble "Jungle Bean", a multicultural group incorporating musicians from England, Israel, Cameroon and Scotland. In the beginning of the new millennium Yehuda has found to be magically attracted to the fascinating sounds of the Oud, Saz, Jumbush, Kanoon and many other string instruments from the Middle East and East Europe. As further developments to Yehuda's rich and impressive credentials, he joins the group "Adraba", involving talented Israeli musicians playing a fascinating mixture of styles and Genres. In 2003, Yehuda manifested his long life dream to open a studio which will be a hospitable home for local artists, assisting them in delivering their great talent and creativity to the world (visit the musicians page). "Seven Steps", Yehuda's newly released CD is a musical journey, bringing east and west closer then ever.

The Nadav Haber Quartet plays a unique brand of Ethiopian based jazz, influenced by the Middle Eastern sounds of Jerusalem. A journey between Ethiopia and Jerusalem, recorded live in Jerusalem in summer 2006.
